I do believe in miracles and would love to share one here with all of you. One of my cousins relatives which is a cousin of mine through marriage, it is her sister that I am referring to. This lady was diagnosed with cancer that could not be treated and was given a few months to live so on her last Doctor's visit, she asked the Doc to let her view some images they had taken of her to see how far along she was. The Doc told her that maybe it wasn't a good idea...he also had not view any of the images. He agreed to do so and could not believe what he was seeing. She was cancer free and has no explanation of how this happened. When my cousin told me this the first words that came out of my mouth were "It's is another of God's Miracles". The power of prayer is amazing. I also have another story to share and I promise I will shorten it as much as I can...lolMy friend whom I have been friends with for over 45 years, was a young girl back in the 70's and was attending school one day. I think she may have been about 5 years old. Another little classmate of hers ran up to her and repeated that she over heard her Parents and said that my friends father only had two months to live...My friends name is April. Well after hearing this she stormed out of that classroom and ran all the way home scared and in tears. She asked her parents and they told her the truth. They did not want to tell her right away...being so young and having to deal with such tragedy. Well...April is now 47 years old and her father is still alive and well. He has had many battles with cancer and so many other illnesses and yet he is still going. Believe it or not, yesterday morning he was on his way to a funeral and his jeep went off the road due to icy conditions--rolled the jeep three times, of course the jeep is a total loss but her Dad came out without a scratch. Now there is one thing I have not shared with you yet. This man who is a miracle himself, had given his life to GOD many years ago. I believe that GOD kept him here on earth to help so many others. He came across a piece of land with a camp built on it and fell in love with this place. He then created a place called "The Mitzpah" where he had built one little chapel so people can go pray and reflect. This is a beautiful location out near the woods. There is a beautiful pond and I have to say that I call it "sacred" land. This place has now become even bigger by people donating money and things to help build this place. They have now built another Church, cabins that people can just take a sleeping bag and a candle and stay overnight. I can't tell you how beautiful this place has become. It is such a small place here in Maine but yet it's unbelievable how many people from out of state, out of town, people that have come to find themselves and have found GOD. From Cancer walks to Masses etc. He is a Legacy...I'm French does that make sense using that term?? Or is it the place is a legacy. Sorry my friends, I truly and French and sometimes have a hard time placing my words!! Now what I didn't mention here is that when the people started working on the land to build the first Chapel, there was a huge rock that was removed from the ground and what they found on this rock in unbelievable. They kept it so people can see as they enter the property. You can clearly make it out that it is the face of JESUS. Thank you for reading...I really didn't mean to write a "book" but I couldn't resist. I am so thankful to have been invited here. Hugs!
