que pasa general tented. damn good to see you as usual.

I want to see how berdy fares against nole tomorrow.

from a fan's standpoint it would be nice to see a tough, hard fought 5 set battle.

I am just not sure if berdy is fit enough for such a monumental battle.

guess we will find out tomorrow.

I hope Berdych can win, but I'm not holding my breath. He has collapsed under pressure too many times to trust him, you know? He has the game, but he loses confidence too often.

berdych has a massive game. he just misses out at times on account of not being consistent enough in the clutch.

this man made the Wimbledon final in 2010.

I am not sure if anybody can beat nole on indoor hard courts at the moment.

berdych has to go for it tomorrow. he has to serve big. I mean really big.

that will keep some pressure on nole`s side of the net.

well I am hitting the sack general.

see you next time.

morning emma.

nole is working him to death for this game emma.

sure enough berdy blows his service game which he had to hold. we have seen this from him all too often.

he missed too many first serves and missed too many key shots which he had to make.

all credit to nole of course for putting everything back in play on return. he gives you very little to work with.

first set to nole. that should be the match.

berdy does what he does best: choke.

that was as easy a forehand as you will ever see and he basically **** in his pants.

general tented was right.  berdy  chokes way too much in key moments.

nole has it all. now he has one of the biggest serves on the planet also.

it is absolutely money in the clutch.

But the real victory will still be decided in the next match though perhaps slightly predictable at this point.

to the Czech republic, davis cup is everything. it means a lot to them.

http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2013/11/46/Davis-Cup-Final-Sunday-Serbia-Czech-Republic.aspx

"I don't think words can describe it," said Stepanek. "To defend this trophy means the world for us and our country. We waited 32 years for the second title and now we are one of five countries that have been able to defend the title.

"We played in Serbia, on their surface, in front of their fantastic crowd. We made history today. I felt great on the court here since Friday and I just proved it. I've been Top 10 singles, Top 10 doubles, I've won two Grand Slams, and played the Masters in singles and doubles, but winning the Davis Cup tops it all."

Last year, Stepanek also held his nerve against Nicolas Almagro in the fifth rubber to lift the Czechs to a 3-2 win over Spain in the final of the ITF men’s team competition. The Czech Republic has now won the Davis Cup crown three times, having also triumphed in 1980.

"It's a dream," declared stand-in captain Vladimir Safarik. "The first thing I have to say, is it's a privilege to be on this team. Having Tomas and Radek on the team is something special. I'm really proud of my team, it's really amazing what they achieved. Radek is a real professional."

I am very happy for the Czech but I felt soooooooooooo sorry for lajovic. So much pressure and against such an experienced player. Last year Almagro had to take so much slack for his loss or rather cold looks by other Spaniards lol that I felt very sorry for him too.

So now we truly move on to the next phase - the exo phase, eh?

lajovic is ranked just outside the top 100. he is only 23 so there was just huge pressure on him today.

and on top of all that, the Czech team came in with considerable experience.

their chances skyrocketed as soon as it was learned that Tipsy would not be able to play.
