You know, I just cannot sign up for one more forum. I'd rather commit suicide. I am just one forum person, one forum that fulfills all my needs. I liked Tennis Frontier and like Owen very much, but I felt a certain restriction there and that compromises my freedom heavily. Nothing gets in the way of my total freedom - not even a long time relationship. I can dump it right away if it compromises my freedom in any way.

Well, having said all that, I just browsed Tennis Warehouse just now and noticed a long lost friend there who has recently signed up. That was a big surprise! We are out of touch since 2008 I think - mostly my fault, really.  He's an incredible poster btw and an avid fan of tennis. I know him since our CNN days - since 1999.

I hear ya princess emma. only reason I am tennis warehouse is because it is busy and they have 30,000 members or more.


it looks like it is well run. I tend to just stay at my thread there but I am enjoying myself there.


I don't go to any other threads to talk and stuff. I created that "creative sports images thread" and that is where I can go post sports images and stuff.

and I can also talk to somebody there if I need to. people seem to be quite kind to me.


so I am basically adding value to their forum. I hope they return the kindness and maybe help us a little bit too.


I have posted a link to our own forum there a few times. and to be fair to them, I post links to their forum here.

so far I have not seen any reciprocity of any kind but maybe I am too new there. hopefully I can make a few friends there and maybe they will give our forum a try as well.

I mean to say that friends tend to help each other.


as for tennis frontier, I like the great baron a lot and I will always consider him a kind friend but the issue is with his cast:

tented, moxie, and broken shoelace have some sort of problem with me. I usually end up either getting confronted by them or just plain attacked. it has happened way too many times. they also have a moderation fetish. they want to moderate too much and control too much.

also a few of them are highly clickish. that dynamic may end up being a liability for them. newcomers are not given the kind and warm treatment.

on their discussion page, for instance, they just tend to talk to each other.



you, me, baron, and the few of our own people kept the castle going there but almost all their other cast and their locals never bothered to stop by the castle and say any kind words to anybody. in other words they never bothered to support us.

and not one of them is willing to help us here. I asked a couple of people to stop by and say hello and stuff but no dice.

only the great baron was kind enough to join and say hello.


we did so much for them and I brought a tremendous number of people there. still they never bothered to return the kindness.
I have always believed that we can all work together to bring about a little bit of growth at both forums but some people just don't understand that concept.



well we are going to make it here one way or another. in about 3 years we will have this forum will be making money and that money will be evenly distributed between the owners of this forum.

all the admin people here are at camelot owners of this forum. they all have equal voice and they all can do whatever they please. its their forum.




as for the images, I am not sure what we can do emma. I guess we can try small, single images for the board intros. I will get to it as soon as I can.

Here though, we will give everyone a lot of freedom - freedom of speech. Let people speak their mind etc. I will allow even Alex. See banning doesn't help. What helps is that you learn from your mistakes and that you become aware of the fact that you are conscious being. I'd rather see Alex wake up than to get banned repeatedly. It has to, however, come from within and it will come, eventually after a long suffering. He needs to lose things he loves the most. Only through suffering we learn to appreciate things. Not too many people know or realize that. They like to put the blame onto something else than to take responsibility for it.

we will do things differently here. we will enjoy the freedom that is possible only at Camelot and no other place.

basically people can do anything they please here. and if they want their very own sub forum/board here then they can have that. it is Camelot. all their dreams can come true.



as for alex, I think he is playing mind games again there at tennis4u. we know him too well. he is crying for sympathy by creating that pathetic, bogus "so long" thread.



that is just a joke. he is not going anywhere.
