Confusing to conceptualize
Whether to Laugh or cry

To retrieve his health
To live with no aches and pains
Each morning the pain shattered
Illusions of what he thought was important

He constantly clamoured

What is slightly amusing
Is that you followed Nafsika
Celebrating her matrimonial anniversary
While you were celebrating the end of life

A few tear drops stained
My dewy  fresh cheeks

Walking into a tattoo parlour
In a short but well fitted
Business suit

The artists inquired my curiosity
As though I was wasting their time
I chose what I desired
Including the location
For the early 90's
Unique

What I found amusing
My skin is smooth and pale
The vibrancy of the tattoo
Appeared fake to many
My skin as the back drop of ivory
Made the colours stand out fabulously

Today it requires a touch up
Or re structuring
Still looks great on the inside of my wrist

I took a gamble
It paid off
