There is a strange energy in the air
It's like electricity is crackling across the sky
Winds are whipping objects
without a care
It's sounds like a train gaining momentum
Whooshing by
I swear I hear it whistling
Cacophonous in its spectrum

Feeling tremendously helpless
The rain is pelting yet another day
In the city, my city
Montana is praying for rain
To combat the wildfires
Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean
Praying the hurricanes won't land
Solar and lunar eclipses
Created this mixed generation
Of Earths complexities
While being shone by the full moon
All displaced beings are reaching
Out for a hand

It out of our control
Here's the biggest joke on us

When was it ever in OUR control ?

Yet I only want one
Where you hold me tight
When I think I can't breathe anymore
You pull back + look into my eyes
Feeling you reach down into my heart
Our eyes speaking a language
Only lovers understand
Magically the kiss of our souls
Transcends in space and time
Just before our lips meet
In unity we smile and say the words
I love you
Soft lips parting
Your warm breathe intermingles with mine
Teasingly small pecks
Your embrace tightens
Our kiss deepens
Breathing you in
As the sweet taste of your kiss
Makes me shiver
Wanting more
Always wanting more

Transpired serendipitously
At our artistic destination
An afternoon of Masters appreciation
A desirous contemplation
Engaging in the stimulation
Of our interplay
Of our wildest imagination

Through the process of
This particular consideration
Words had not yet passed out lips
Yet our eyes communication
As though a thousand leagues
Have spoken
Fathomless is the depth
Of the desire in your eyes
Swimming the deep blues
Of this powerful
Compelling emotion

Standing in front of this masterful painting
Delighting in the touch of your hand
In the middle of my back
Guiding me to the next artistic masterpiece

All completed
In silence

The smoke is billowing around
The lonely rider on his black horse
Named lightening
A gentle breeze helps clear remnants
Of the dust kicked
By the horses hoofs
Mysterious rider tightening
The reins
Slowing the trot to a gallop
Working diligently at maintaining
A surprise
Was waiting for him
As much as they considered themselves
Lucky to falsely believe
They were prepared
To deal with this man
Who faced death and won
Several times
Rumours had it
He danced with the devil
The ragged scar across his cheek
To prove it
The would still appeared raised and
Sorely Red
Magnified by the twitch in his eye
Much history to relay
Watching him leisurely ride away
Noting the constant change
Of the clouds in the sky
As though they shared a secret message
Trying to repay
This brave lonely rider
On his silent quest
Of discovery

Through the mists
Slightly obliterating
My sense of direction
Tripping over a branch
This route has been my selection
Though I’ve questioned it
Far too many times
Creative is my heart and soul
No matter how hard I try
Social graces in the corporate world
Has incrementally deepened my distaste
Nature’s beauty makes me whole
Reconnecting me piece by piece
From those shattered shards
Crushing segments
Sacral blow by blow
Love is the glue that I choose to paste
Deciding to let the cards
Fall where they may
Each branch that falls along the way
I’ll overcome the obstacle
Climbing or stepping over
Easing the anxious fear
That constricted me
It’s tendrils slipping away
As I break it’s hold
Each step
The further I watch the old me crumble
Those reaching arms
Twisting and turning I tear away
My path is ahead
Not behind me
No need to burn the bridge I crossed
That part of me is dead
I may trip and stumble
Diving into nature’s charms
Is where you’ll find me
Living high on life
And humble
