The smoke is billowing around
The lonely rider on his black horse
Named lightening
A gentle breeze helps clear remnants
Of the dust kicked
By the horses hoofs
Mysterious rider tightening
The reins
Slowing the trot to a gallop
Working diligently at maintaining
A surprise
Was waiting for him
As much as they considered themselves
Lucky to falsely believe
They were prepared
To deal with this man
Who faced death and won
Several times
Rumours had it
He danced with the devil
The ragged scar across his cheek
To prove it
The would still appeared raised and
Sorely Red
Magnified by the twitch in his eye
Much history to relay
Watching him leisurely ride away
Noting the constant change
Of the clouds in the sky
As though they shared a secret message
Trying to repay
This brave lonely rider
On his silent quest
Of discovery
