Why must it happen
When last we spoken
Misunderstanding created
Where our hearts are broken
This must be fated
My joy with you
Was overrated
Words spewed
By many jaded

Try as hard as I may
I'm dying here
As I lay
Forlorn and confused
What occurred the other day
In a constant state
I'm rather bemused

Recalling happier times
Constricts my breath
I'm feeling the confines
Of this sudden death

I'm lost
I'm broken
Crying cannot stop
Irritrievable
Trying to pop
The pieces together
Of my heart

Crawling into bed
In the fetal position
Fearing the dread
Difficult ambition
To paint a smile
On my face
At this point
Looks scary and out of place

Objection of the long winded stricture
Egos need to hide behind the walls
De-compose will crumble
Fall apart
Communication in continuance
Erupts a hazy reflection
So when the Truth is discovered in time

Closing my eyes in hopes of hearing
Your whisper
The moon not yet full
Wolf is calling it's mate
Change of seasons is nearing
Much of summers gifts
Awaiting to disappear
Enrapt in all of natures knowing
The Earth & it's inhabitants
Feel the crisp night air
Transformation is near
Rustling of the leaves
Transmutation of their colour
Will be all too clear
As the nights get colder

This months full moon
Wafts behind the clouds
Winking it's sparkling light
On this dark still summer night
