I sit and wonder
Why I have this intense desire
For self sabotage
Catastrophic

Other times
I'm kicking up a storm
Every minute of the day
Is filled to the rim
Overwhelmed
Don't know where to begin

Space & time
Meditation brings me illumination
Varied forms work for me
Exercise or sitting still
Either way it's better than
Any pill

Anytime
When lightning strikes
Fascination with inspiration
That single spark
Pulls me out of that
Drowning dark
To my form of configuration
Freedom
To write

Self imposed chains
Compounded by gibberish
By people who claim to love me
But fear that change
In me
Will be the death
Of them

They are right
I have no desire to fight
Damned if I do

Breaking the process
Worrying obsessive continuation
Why do I bother?
Activate the ability to negate
Change the worrying
Commence and propagate
Positive enforcement
Kick yourself into gear
We're so close to a new year
Doing the same continually
Is a sign of insanity
Break the pattern
Tear away from the crowd

Can't get comfortable

Sleep escapes me
As hard as I wish for slumber

Sweet soft spot
Feels like I'm sleeping on rocks
Music normally soothes
Me to deep sleep
Need to be up in a few hours
Debilitating power
I've given up
Insomnia usually is creative
Wrapping myself in your hoodie

Will lull me to sleep
