There is a calmness to watching
The flames burn the dry log in the hearth
The heart of the room
Emanates warmth to the heart of my core
The leaping and dancing flames
I dive into the images that play
All my worries away

Each vision comes in to wipe away the last
The movie played has multiple versions
I’m in awe of the creativity
Involving depths of sensitivity

Loving the golden hues initiated
By the cool blue
Scorching to the touch
Warming the environment
Dancing flames for comfy enjoyment

Leaving me breathless in Passion
Your kisses melting all my reserves
Anticipation of your mental seduction
That built the fire
Making the flames burn higher
Mirroring my desire
Peeling off each piece of clothing
Crazy with frenzy
Needing to feel
Your naked body against mine

The expanse of oceanic waves
Is in between us
Life has played a major part
To bring our worlds
Although apart
In its infinite ways
Together

Elation as we FaceTime
Text or explore our hearts desire
Through the emails
Vast communication over the wires
Outpouring of feelings expressed
As poets do
Our loves content

Standing along the beach
Fathomless water still keeps
Our physicality at a distance
Technological waves you’re at
My fingertips reach

Satisfaction and elation
Whilst receiving notifications
From you
Still
There are parts of me
That’s a deeper blue
Then that of The aqueous hues

It’s the wanting and needing
Of breathing you in
Touching you
Tasting you

My senses are screaming
In dire need of you

No matter how hard life hits you there's always someone worse off than you.
Unless you're held down or at gun-point or very ill there's always something about it you can do.
There's always something to be grateful for.
Dogs who like being stroked & always want more.
The birds who sing nicely at the crack of dawn.
Beautiful animals & places which make you glad you were born.

I’m always in awe of the beauty
Mother Nature shares
Kaleidoscope of colours
Never threadbare
Multiple hues of red white + blues
Interwoven with orange green + purples
Woven through with black + white
Nature’s pictures are often movies
Always unique
Often evolving one picture
Flowing into the other
A visual story shared in images
Basking in the constant transformation
Don’t look away
Observe the various hues of pink
Scarlett fuschia rose magenta
Imagination reaching new heights
Of elevation

Look away
Look back
Looks like entirely different sites

Mother Nature’s Beauty
Basking underneath
Father Sky

Curiosity for the unknown
Known is familiar
Falling into the rhythm
What’s already learned
Oftentimes becomes boring

But the luxury of imagining the unknown
Fear and excitement
Runs through my body
Like a roller coaster ride
Highs lows
Nobody really knows
Which twists and turns
Will surprise us in a good or bad way
That’s always just a misconception
For nothing really falls
Under those two categories

Anxious for the unknown
