Is in between us

To bring our worlds
Although apart

Elation as we FaceTime
Text or explore our hearts desire
Through the emails
Vast communication over the wires
Outpouring of feelings expressed
As poets do
Our loves content

Standing along the beach
Fathomless water still keeps
Our physicality at a distance
Technological waves you’re at
My fingertips reach

Satisfaction and elation
Whilst receiving notifications
From you
Still
There are parts of me
That’s a deeper blue
Then that of The aqueous hues

It’s the wanting and needing
Of breathing you in
Touching you
Tasting you

My senses are screaming
In dire need of you
