A tear slipped
From the corner of my eye
As I watched the bride go by
She looked breathtakingly beautiful
With stars and love in her eyes
For the man she now can call husband
Priest just congratulated them
Proffered them heartwarming advice
Beware of internet intrusions
Fake news delusions

In my heart, he showered them
With loving advice
Walking up the aisle as man and wife
She stumbled
Not used to wearing a full length
Wedding dress
After all this is her first wedding
She gasped as she stumbled
Holding onto the man she loved
Her eyes darted quickly
To her beloved

He walked beside her
Stoicism written all over his face
No notice of his beautiful brides discomfort
Even if her gait seemed out of place

Observing him
He seemed withdrawn
Like checking off a list
This job is done

A tear slipped from my eye
For she doesn’t know it yet
Her love for him is real
For him it’s a lie

And dreams convexed with reality
Magickal fantasy embraced
For if the dream is not to your liking
You have the ability to change
Unlimited field of imagination
Basking in the beauty of the prismatic eye
Sapphire jewel coloured sky
With the occasional spotting
Of a fluffy cotton like cloud
Allowing the Magick to shroud
In a land
Where all the proud
Need a gentle reminder
To continue to play
To mend their hearts
Of the distended fray
Everyday
Is a new way to play

Pushing the limits of boundaries
Forcing your desires
Imagining that they mirror mine
People, we all plunge with our peculiarities
Disjointed perceptions
Hopes of destroying something sound
Wanting entanglement
Ultimately one earth shaking
Profound
Friendship is all I can procure
My heart is taken
Our love is pure

Here is a valuable tip
As an artist that loves words
That an imagination that’s boundless
Capabilities of writing
Using vast emotions
Mixed with fantasies
And poof
Poems flowing limitless

This requires repetition
What you read
Is not my life’s rendition
I’m far more complicated
I’m far more complex
Wrapped in the luminosity of the light
Plunging in the shadows of the dark
Conforming to your parameters
Passing the judgement gavel

Ultimatums just pushes me
The other way
It’s social media my friends
Living across the lands
I’m happily unfolding my life
With different plans

My token is platonic friendship
My love has been spoken for
Soul mate relationship
Love doves offering peaceful unity
As they fly out the door
Embracing another possibility

Here’s another tip:
Being of free will
Communication via written word
Misses my tonal inflections
That clearly signify my honest affections
You have a question
You want the truth
I’m blunt and direct enough
To share with compassion
You may not like my version
