Fairy tales filled of stars and hearts
Bed time stories always shared with love
Falling asleep in that perfect sweet spot
Listening to the beautiful hum
Of my mother’s voice
Lilting musically with her song of choice
Encouraging me to sleep
Sharing stories that felt so far away
In a world where there never was
A sky of gray
