His last 12 hours
We’re the hardest 12 ever
Judgement the cruelest
As every whip, every pain written across his body
Etched and deeper than any tattoo
Scourged and caused to bleed feverishly
Needing to watch Him cry in ultimate pain
Every strike on his body echoed the hate
The evil they needed to point blame and despicable angry hate
Reveling in each cry with twisted joy
Blood flying from every wound
Drowning in the echoes of his cries
Vicious in the attempt
Contemptuous in every raising of the arm
To land and cause the harshest of pain
Scourged to the degree that his body cried blood
Blood with every breathe
Blood with every word of forgiveness
Forgive them for they know not what they do
God please forgive me for all the pain I have caused
I forgive all those that tore at me
Nothing compared to the pain received by our Lord Jesus Christ
The pain that still echoes thousands of years later
Annually we go through the rebirth
Unbeknownst as to why we just don’t get it
The love God has given us over and over
And we continue to cause pain
Not paying attention to the lessons
Not paying attention
Not at all

At times of need
Appreciated and reciprocated
When all that matters

The light in his eyes dimmed
His heart rate rapidly declined
They tried to bring him back
On the monitor his heart skipped
And then…the single line defined
It wasn’t a heart attack
It doesn’t matter now he’s gone
In this realm he’s not coming back

In silence
We’re always graduating to sound
That when it’s eliminated
Fear escalates for the silence is deafening
Strange how the absence of sound is resounding
It’s as though the ears crave to hear a pin drop
Ones breath is loud and captivating
Senses on high alert
Capturing the heightening of all the other senses
Astounding

It’s swimmingly accepting what’s in front
Questioning what is thrown in, viewing

A pivotal revelation
The dates and month fall the same this year
As the 2017 year
Summoned to value this day in silence
A difficult task in this day of technology
Where everyone expects to reach you immediately
The silence was more than just psychology
It was requested, honored to follow consciously
Difficult yes
Did I complete the 24 hour
Broke it at the 22 hour
I know I’ll achieve it 🔜
Years ago, on this day, on a Saturday
We laid you to rest Mom.

Born to see the bright side of life
Aching for all the times of play
When the street lights lit up
And it was time to say good night
Go home and prepare for another day
Struggling with the angst of strife
Where MSM news keep lying
Regardless of the region or the station
They aren’t even hiding
Their constant intent of lying
Tired of the constant fighting
Peer group tension acting with no independence
Apparently another point of view
Is not allowed, sheep following with no thought process
Hatred is putrid with a vengeance
Penalizing children for playing street hockey
What the actual F are we doing
Words hold no truth
Politicians are focused on spending our hard earned money
Looking to sneakily steal from out bank accounts
There is no land of milk and honey
Aching for the days of seeming kindness and innocence
When going out to play with other kids
Even if we fought one day
We lived to conquer it and be friends the next
Where we looked forward to getting dirty and scrapping our knees
As we rally together to play

Just one more day
I thoroughly wished the kids of today
Had the innocence of play
Where good competitive fun filled with yells and laughter
That’s what I wish for them
A day of thunderous laughter and fun at play

The music is held in the moments between words
The silence resonates
It activates the notes with impactful words
That holds the timber of your voice
Baritone in tone, warmth emanating through the sound waves
When there is comfort in silence
That’s when you know, you’re with your one
Meaningful glances that turn into deep looks
Of knowing without the showing of sounds
That knowing look that surpasses sound

Now it appears what we knew
Is an illusion
Communication seems to have several meanings
Depending on who you’re expressing
It relies on the new
Sincerely is truly old
Look back to history that is still available
Nuggets of information that’s richer than gold
Understanding that maintaining your truth
May not synthesize with another
Especially since feelings separate factual
Your point of views
Are considered as others
There is no left or right
Release all tendencies to fight
What they have normalized won’t come to light
For all is askew
