Her end of life was riddled with loss of memories
She was fearful that she’d forget
And forget she did
Until she remembered and she cried tears
She passed yesterday
She fought her loneliness
Married to steer clear
Divorced soon after she realized he wasn’t dear
Her first love and husband passed 20 years ago
Before she passed she smiled at last
She saw him and her light past
