Dismissing all you have to say
As unimportant

Causing you to question yourself
Then....

Some time later
It's not the time factor that's significant
It's the object you just asked about
Reiterated seeing clearly
Noting simply
Lies blended the actions
Procures more lies
Behind a veneer of smiles

Real smooth

Shattered beliefs

Is rocking back and forth
Death followed by death
Memories come flooding in
Realizing arguements just left us broken
Everybody plays a huge part
In holding onto stupid past mistakes
with an even stupider need to
Bring it up
It's all ego based

Life is so short
Sorry can never replace nor take
Back the words that hurt
It's for the best
To forgive
And walk away

Truly being a new day
Break all the regrets
Break all seeming lies
Break all the shackles

It's about burning that bridge
Not looking back
Unless you can laugh

Laughter certainly heals all wounds
All those open sores
Stop weeping
They heal without a scar

Forgiveness to ease your heart
Everybody will hurt you
If you let them
Love them anyway
But mostly
Love you

Love yourself enough to do
What's best for you

Heeding my own advice

Last few weeks
I've been delving deep
Exploration in my psyche
That I had otherwise pushed down
Everything appeared difficult
Much effort was required
Even for the most simplistic movements

Breaking down the resistance
Freed me up to dance
Again
And again

Liberation when all the shackles
Didn't need breaking
Just slipped out of them
Almost like
Magic

Outwardly he appears as an ogre
Yet inside resides a loving heart
That's been hurt
Wrought with pain
He'd rather forgot
Monstrous though he loves with completeness
Dealing with constant judgement
Of all that stare in awkwardness

Love has passion + contentment
It touches everyone who wishes
To embrace a gallantry of devotion
Look into this seemingly grotesque eyes
And observe compassion
Look closer still + you'll see
The continual jabs that caused
Immense distress
Love is blind
The eyes are the soul

Complexity of intense sensitivity
Picking up everyone's energies
Destroying ones common sense
Where the brain goes wow
Feeling like a blow

So many times I've wondered
Why am I given this
If it's always a test
Everything is a test
