Hello Lady Olga!
Years ago, in Toronto
When we all used to read hard copies (books, newspapers, magazines)
I had just read an article on him in the mornings paper

It was the holiday season ( December)
I was working at an establishment on Bloor Street.
Wrapping Christmas presents for a customer

He asked me for something
I looked at him and smiled.
Told him I read the article in the paper.
Loved his work.
He smiled. Ok so what’s my name?
I was stunned. I described the article
But I couldn’t recall his name.

So I continued to tell him more about the article
And how I loved him in Ace Ventura
Telling him he was hilarious.

He kept saying.
Who am I?

I said come on...you tell me.
He wouldn’t

He kept at it for about 15 minutes.
I said. You know what.
Go away. And come back

I will jog my memory and then I will
Tell you your name. 

He went away.
In the meantime. I searched for the newspaper
That article was missing.

Then I relaxed thinking.
He won’t come back.

He was back an hour later.
Leaned against the counter.
Sooooo who am I?

Ahhhh come on!!!
You know I know who you are,
You tell me.

I came back and you still don’t know who I am.

It went on for a while.
It was so funny.

One of my fondest memories.
Simply because he came back.
He joked around with me.

Goes to show you what a great guy he was...willing
To interact and kid around.

Haters...will always find something to be negative about
Simply because that’s what they are focused on.

So let’s focus on the amazing stuff.
Plus they love thinking they are affecting us.
Why give them food for fodder.
It drives them nuts when we’re happy.
