rafa is one of he greatest global sports superstars ever and yet he is still a humble, shy, and down to earth dude away from the tennis court.

Exactly. I would be freaking out it posters and billboards were there to meet me in obscure cities and countries that I go to compete. If sports writers always wanted to write about me. That dolls were made in my likeness, clothes and shoes bought because of my name. People traveled for miles to see me. I can't even imagine it, and to take it all in stride and care only about the competition. Just phenomenal.
On Twitter, this 88 y.o had a sign up saying "I traveled 1284 (?) miles to see you at Rio. OMG, how must that feel?
