Exactly general.  Well it is what it is, right?

Maybe you or some other Rafa fan can tell me, does Uncle Toni have any control or input into which tournaments/exhibitions Rafa plays?
I can't believe he hasn't seen what's going on.  Or does Rafa basically do as he wants at this point?
Is it about money?  Wave the money at him, and he'll play anywhere, anytime?  It's hard for me to believe that, at this point.  He must have hundreds of millions in the bank by now.

his net worth is reputed to be approaching $300 million. Federer is well over $300 million. most likely just north of $500 million. Federer is pulling in well over $71 million a year now. Rafa's 8 RG crowns will bring him $1 billion in the next 30-40 years.


Rafa does has some sponsorship demands but right now he has to make some adjustments. this is the only top athlete on the planet in tennis who has thrown away nearly 2.5 years of his prime years to injuries that could have been prevented.

he and his team simply refuse to make the adjustments to his training and his scheduling. the result of that is that something has to give.

he is just one man. he has been a dominating athlete in the sport for a decade now. that is very hard to do. even for a superman.
