he is still the man to beat at RG. he is taking it if he can get into the final and I believe he will do it. he will be in the final there.
in the mean time he did not really need to give all these other cats all these easy wins over him. he is too good for them.
the problem is that the sport is very demanding now. they are all gunning for you. top players are vulnerable in the best of 3 sets formats if they drop their focus.
nadal dropped his game and his fitness and it has been costing him
I am beginning to come around your thinking on the matter: he lost some motivation and is finding it hard to get back in the groove.
back injury made it worse. now the back is better but it has to be a small variable still. it has to be in the back of his mind.
he just cant afford another back issue this close to RG. also the next back issue could end the career.
he has got to get stronger and he has to stay on clay for a while.
I think he'll get it together. All-time greats don't enjoy losing. That's what makes them so great. The silver lining is that is he isn't despondent, or panicking. That's a good sign. I can't wait until he pulls it altogether again, because he brings so much energy and excitement to the sport.
Vamos, Rafa!
Break the record at RG, 2014.
Please.
