Oh well, Andy lost. But I am not disappointed because he showed what he's made of. Last night his touch shots weren't working that well so he had to go on an all out assault, which I do think wore him out physically. Had he been able to mix up the two styles he could have had a better shot, but it wasn't meant to be.
I guess in the end it makes sense. He's not at his former Big 4 level with the injury and all, but he showed us why he is a perennial member of the Big Four. That was some scintillating tennis. And when you consider that he is slowly but surely getting back to his level and getting his fitness back it just let's us know that he'll be ready in Oz. Oz is going to be a cracker in 2015. Plus, it wouldn't make sense for him to just getting back to his level and beating the #1 player in the world.
Andy's time will come, and I don't know which one, but he will definitely win a major next year.
