This is pretty cool.

TOMAS BERDYCH/Age: 29/Current ATP Rank: 7
2014 Highlights: 2 titles – Stockholm, Rotterdam; Finals in Beijing, Oeiras, Dubai; SFs at Australian Open, Miami, Paris and QFs at French and US Opens
ATP Finals History: 5th appearance, made SFs in 2011; has just five wins in the event – Ferrer (2), Tipsarevic, Tsonga and Roddick and is 0-6 against the Big Four at the event
Yikes!
Notable Stat: Hasn’t beaten a player with a single digit ranking since Ferrer at the Australian Open!
Wow.
Finals Outlook: Does he have the hunger? Is he just happy to qualify, and pick up some extra cash? With Berdych, my reservation is always his desire. How much does he want to win? And the problem for him at an event like the ATP Finals is there really are no easy gimme type of matches. Fortunately, he’s in the easier of the two groups so I think he’ll scratch out a win over Cilic (leads H2H) and possibly Wawrinka, though the Swiss has won their last four and 7 of 8 so all bets are off there. Still, maybe he gets a set off Novak which gets him the tiebreaker over Cilic and Stan and puts him into the SFs. Otherwise he’s an awfully uninspiring choice here.
Swing Match: v Wawrinka
Projected Finish: 2nd In Group A (1-2)
I don't see him getting a win over Cilic. Stan is doubtful too. Poor Tomas. I hope he makes the semifinals. That would be dandy. Winning the whole thing is too much to hope for.
