I don't know if you have Tennis Channel, but it is so hit and miss. Their programming is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because you can usually matches you might've missed on ESPN. But the curse is that they don't adjust the programming. So for example, if a WTA match is scheduled it can run over and tape as an ATP match.
That's what happened tonight. It only taped one and a half set of Rafa's match, so of course I didn't know if he won or not. I had to google to find out the result.
The good thing is that I'll be able to catch it tomorrow, but I'll have to tape Center Court which will rerun all of the matches and there's no way to determine when Rafa will come on.
It is so frustrating.
Anyway. Glad he won. I hope he's getting these matches in and feeling good about it. I know he has a lot of work to do, but I'm so glad to see him playing again, so I won't complain.
he was somewhat wishy washy in the 3rd set against Fognini and paid the price.
fog dictated play and won most of the rallies off the ground.
he is going to have to get off the hard courts so he can win at least on clay
he is going to indian wells and Miami. I would skip Miami and go practice on clay and also work on fitness.
rafa is just a shell of what he used to be right now. it is not too late. he has to go get on clay after indian wells.
he is going to argentina now but I cant see him winning there either. little or no confidence in the ground game, poor fitness, and poor movement is costing him.
