I think courier is wrong about nishikori.


nishikori had his chance against novak in rome. he is also not really durable enough to win a slam like RG.


nishikori is not the 2nd best clay court player on the planet after novak as courier is seeing it.


I am still thinking that Rafa might be able to reach deep and find that Rafa magic again. there really is no need to give up his kingdom. this is not the time for it.

I agree with your entire posts for the same reasons. Kei is nowhere near the stratosphere they've assigned him to, mainly because of durability as you stated.
