you
twisted ice
snow-dusted
beset by creeping death
discarded from her dread embrace
now pleasuring is done

@MercurialNight: Icy floes surround my heart
Ever changing
Ever moving
As seasons change
Those that may
Escape my frozen grasp
To breathe again

That which seems still
moves slowly
almost imperceptibly
tiny breaches in cold's grip
are eased wider
by succouring touch

@MercurialNight: Slipping ever faster from my grasp
My freedom disappears from view
I sink silently beneath
Trapped within her icy tomb

What fire brave enough
to try her frozen hell
melt captive bonds
liberate spirits
comatose from cold?
Yet flame is bold!

@MercurialNight: A valiant heart
Brave and true
Burning with internal fire
Hot blooded creatures
To rise again
As phoenixes soaring high

@Banquozghost:
Hot blood soars
beyond the pale
of an icy rim
hungry for nought
but grim possession.
In flame is wrought a road of passion.

@MercurialNight: Seared within my soul
Burned forever in warning
Trespass not on this frozen waste
A serene beauty
Ever hiding a deadly intent

Who says "Dare not!"
for yet I dare
my fiery will
can melt the grip
of frozen air
this my challenge
"Try me, Ice! I'm fire!"

@MercurialNight: Fire you may be!
Yet be not inflamed of pride
For with one drag of an icy finger
You shall forever be entombed
Frozen in time

Fire drives
not pride,
and better tried
than not.
This my tomb?
By the gods
it'll be a hot one
and we'll burn together in't

Into the heavens
Dust to dust
As phoenixes we shall rise
And gaze upon this world's demise

Good morning.

Going to the beach now. Starting out with breakfast on the ocean.

Hope you are having a fantastic day.

This one is very beautiful...a great story told in these words.

I especially like this part,

"One more step
Hardest of all to take
Yet sometimes shortest 2
When all light fades
& sound dims
Take it slow
The end's in view"

Kind of gives you hope that the pain or nightmare is almost over.   

Aww, that one is so sweet, and sad...

That insomnia is a bugger! I get hit with it many times too!

At least you were able to produce something great during the attack
