This territory I name my soul

Protect her well

Crossing through time

 Impenetrable stone, layer upon layer
Rising from the plain to loom, glowering outward
Casting into shadow the land and all beyond

You were always mine
You just didn't know
Threads of fate
Forever shall tie us as one
Meld and mould
We align in symbiotic perfection

reaching out to capture them gently
no net required
tenderly retrieving them for you
memories never fading so bright they are
a million stars in the heavens
do not shine as brightly
reflections of perfect harmony

Within the depths of my mind
Where not even I dare visit too often
There is a place
Secretive
Hidden
My deepest desires awaiting

A scream splits the air
Is it mine or his?
Is this real or a fevered
dream?
Dare I open my eyes?
Face the unknown with courageous eyes?

There upon the field
Beneath a streaming banner
Warriors bold gather to stand
Shoulder to shoulder
Eyes straining in the dawn

Dust floats against the rising sun
Stirred by a thousand feet
Onward they march
Drumming their threatening intent
We wait and wonder

A Dragon & Boar shall meet this day
Flaming breath to match razor tusks
Which shall triumph?
And which in blazing despair
Shall rue the day?

 I hear them still
Those moans that echo
That once did spill from my lips
You held me then
Teased my flesh
Burned your name within

Unveil your secrets to my eyes
Keep me not an Alchemist in chains

 Draped in somber remnants she moves amongst the fair
Once a beautiful Swan
She now glides in shades of mourning
