Winds shift
Loyalties realign
Fortunes wheel spins once again
A crown to fall
Or a fool arise

Placed with precision

Acrid smoke curls slow spirals in the air
Authentic aromas of home fires burning
To draw the weary warriors home

Supple leather strokes a lazy path
Meandering along humid valleys
Rising to peaked crests
Teasing flick
And then the sky explodes

Beneath boiling restless skies
Nature dances in chaotic embrace with man
Our choice-less love
Our Eden
Becomes a Throne of Thorns

Zzzzzzzzz

 With just one word "begin" our world turned to flame
& hell crashed down upon us all
While high on Olympus the mighty Zeus smiled

I hear them still
Those moans that echo
That once did spill from my lips
You held me then
Teased my flesh
Burned your name within

Zzzzzzzzz

Sweet mysteries of the universe
Unveil your secrets to my eyes
Keep me not an Alchemist in chains
But free me to explore deeper

Draped in somber remnants she moves amongst the fair
Once a beautiful Swan
She now glides in shades of mourning
