Judging by Andy's comments below it seems Johnny Mac is on Andy's list as well. He seems to have a lot of respect for him but he also likes the fact that JM is always very keen on Andy's game and has shown a lot of interest over the years.

Andy says before RG would be ideal but will definitely hire someone before Wimbledon.

Went to see the new Spiderman movie. It was uncanny his resemblance to Andy Murray. Ironically, his name is Andrew too. I leaned over to my son and asked him if he saw the resemblance and he was shocked at how much they looked alike.

He even has the same demeanor as Andy, so it was a real treat. It was like watching an action movie and tennis at the same time.

Yes, yes TT darling, most Murray fans are actaully aware of the striking similarity between the two. In fact a year or two ago, on Murray's World, we even talked about it and someone posted a few pictures of them as well.

As to the demeanor, I had no idea about that. Mind you, I've seen only a couple movies of Garfield (The Social Network and Never Let Me Go) and they were both serious movies, so the playful side and the dark humour of Garfield wasn't really shown in any of those movies, so I had nothing to compare. But I suppose the Spider-man character must have that element to it so it's only fitting that the similarities would shine more there. I should mention that I haven't seen any of the latest Spider man movies yet but I'd heard Andrew makes a better Spider-man than Tobey Maguire and the movies are getting a bit better review as well.

The first name is uncanny for sure. Maybe they are long lost twin brothers who knows. What's funny is that, Jamie Murray doesn't look anything like Andy. lol

I remember Andrew Garfield being in one of Andy's matches - perhaps at the 2012 USO final. People must have told him about the resemblance I am sure.

I didn't see any of the movies that you mentioned. But, his demeanor and  tongue-in-cheek humor was sooo Andy. The more I watched, the more I fell in love with his character.

My son loved him in the Spiderman role too. He said he's a much better Spiderman than Tobey, and I agree. At first, I was trying to be on Tobey's side, but after the movie I just gave it up.

So much reminded me of Andy, the way he walked, and everything. It was surreal.
