A Universe Away
Moonbeam spills through velvet night
To steal a touch upon thy face
And softly her pearlescent light
Enfolds thee in her cool embrace
Through pillowed dreams on wings and prayer
Morpheus, inside thy head
Leads thee to dimensions where
Men's mortal feet will never tread
I reach to soothe thy furrowed brow
And run my fingers through thy hair
Easing thine exhausted sleep now
Freeing thee from want and care
May my love and soft caress
Ride the moonlight from above
To reach thy travels and express
The whispered sonnet of my love
