Camelot

Mystical realm at our fingertips,
Breathes with a life of its own,
Calling those destined to find it
And come to its landscape alone.
Its presence entirely surrounds us,
It is everywhere all at one time.
Its nurturing beauty is gentle,
Its scenery, always sublime.
In a blink of an eye we can be there,
Finding wonders at every turn.
Unmarked by the passing of seasons
Its fields full of talent can bloom.
Lit by a glow that's unchanging
It owns neither moon nor a sun
And timeless encounters there teach us
In joy we become all as one.
This land we behold is a blessing
Escape, its Creators true gift
And those who wander its vistas
Find meaning to save those adrift.

You are overly generous.  Not as good as it could be with more time but you made me want to create something especially for you magical realm.  It perhaps doesn't do it justice but it is a start!

The innocent bloom,
Coaxed from the ground by deceitful sun,

Very nice. I just marvel at how you guys sum up every day things so beautifully. How is it even possible that you can see such things, and explain them?

I just came across this one. it caught my eye:


Colors Of Love

 I've been thinking of a painting
 That I've created in my mind
 It's a painting of something special
 For which colors are hard to find
 I've searched all over
 Even the rainbow that leads to the gold
 In hope of finding those special colors
 For my canvas to hold

 I know this painting would turn out right
 If I had those colors to start
 Special colors full of emotions
 From which I could paint from my heart
 I'm not really a painter
 Just a person with an empty palette of dreams
 Someone searching for the color of love
 And searching forever as it seems

 What is the color of love
 And why is it so hard to find
 I know exactly what it looks like
 But I only see it in my mind
 Perhaps those colors are already with me
 Somewhere deep inside
 And can only be released through my emotions
 Which I know I just can't hide

 There's a masterpiece in my heart
 Which my canvas will soon acquire
 And with every brush stroke that I'd make
 It soon would be ready to admire
 Where is that special color
 That I need so very much
 To add to my palette
 And give my painting its one final touch

 This vision I have in my mind
 Is really a painting of you
 There's no need for rainbows
 Only feelings that I know are true
 I believe with all my heart
 That love is any color you want it to be
 For a masterpiece painted with love
 Can be very special, for you and for me

Waiting

Excitement is the sparkle in my vein,
A tingling, secret, effervescent hope,
That sneaks up on an unexpected moment
To tantalize my senses with your name.

The drumbeat of my heart pounds out a hum,
The rhythm of the tires upon the road,
That carry you toward me with each second
That passes, as I drift beneath the sun.

Like a child awaiting dream's fulfillment
Anticipation will not be restrained
I pray your gentle heart will still be loving
And grant the tenderness that my soul craves.

I long to lie within your warm embrace
And watch again the sparkle on the sea
So as you bridge the distance that's between us,
I hope that you have not forgotten me.
