Getting to Know Him

This video is powerful. I'm going to share it with my friends.
The principles are on point. It isn't enough to simply know about God or that He exists, it's about getting to know Him on a personal level and trusting that he cares about the minutiae of our lives. I have learned how to really trust Him and not question the trials that I go through.
Those trials are to refine me, but in the refining I must apply biblical principles in my daily life.
A great point he made was about being self-centered and thinking that God is our errand boy, existing only to fulfill our needs. But, when it comes to what God expects of us, most are reluctant to follow the will of God.
When I am faced with such difficulties I remind myself that where much is given, much is required, then my little problems pale in comparison to Job, Moses, Abraham, and Noah. This rationalization keeps me humble regarding following the will of God.
These videos and the other information that we come across go a long way in reminding what it means to follow Christ.
