she told me that she does not want to be "affiliated" with a primitive forum like Camelot.
that sounds like Camelot does not meet her high expectations.
if you want my own honest opinion, she never gave herself and Camelot a chance.
growth requires at least some work.
for me it requires no work at all because I like and relish these kind of challenges.
it was not too long ago that we started with absolutely nothing here. and I do mean nothing.
most wonderful thing about Camelot is this:
we have a place that we can call home. we can be proud that we have a place that we can enjoy and share with the world. a place that we can call our own.
most of those associations and affiliations on twitter and facebook are pretty much bogus. a lot of them tend to be bogus and superficial.
if you really care about something and are passionate about something, be a part of a forum. or you build a forum to tell the world about your passion.
I do not deny that twitter and facebook has their purpose and their function but at the same time, a forum offers a lot of things that those social media places cannot.
at any rate maybe she will come back when she realizes what really are the additional and endless possibilities at Camelot. we treated her like a queen here.
That's why they call it "humble beginnings." Everything starts out small and gets bigger. Nothing starts at the top. This just allows us to set goals, and keep working towards building Camelot into a force on the internet.
I totally agree.
I'm here because I have a passion.
And that passion is called Rafa.
The facebook, twitter and many communities can be seductive, but it can also be very cruel.
Exists in them all: fun, information, fanaticism, madness... but only there is no peace, and for me this is the essential.
Camelot for me is: focus, positivity, inspiration, support, understanding, motivation, respect, learning, humility, solidarity and force... At all times.
