On arrival Rafa in Rio, one fan was waiting for him for five hours at the airport. Her name is Barbara.

Barbara's mother discovered the flight of Rafa on the internet and took her daughter .
Many people were also there to receive him and to watch him closely.
And Rafa was very friendly with everyone as always .
He stopped to sign autographs and take pictures on landing .

Rafa was very happy to be back in Brazil because it is a country that gives him a good feeling.

Rafa is in Brazil to train, work and trying to get well prepared in the competition.
He seemed to be feeling the heat, the city has high temperatures this summer.
Rafa also thanked the affection of the fans, talking in Portuguese: "Obrigada!"... And it was very funny. 

Barbara was very happy because she met Rafa, get autographs and take pictures with him. 

Thanks for sharing that great video. I didn't understand what they were saying, but I did understand the universal symbol of a smiles all around.

Rafa has the best fans in the world and he is so appreciative of them. It never ceases to amaze me how they have vilified Rafa to no avail. No matter how they've tried to knock him down the fans have responded with a robust, "in your face." He is beloved all over the world. Can you imagine another athlete where the negativity doesn't change public opinion? I can't.

We know our Rafa by the spirit, so we know what a great guy he is.

Let the haters be danged.

Rafa is beloved the world over.

Petty comments don't bother us in the least.
