Fear is a monster of its own making
Creating the unimaginable
Whilst over thinking
Conjuring up tales for the taking
Scared beyond belief
Anxiety surrounds
Panic attacks insurmountable
Blocking opportunities
From every direction
Focusing on what isn’t
Versus what is
Forging ahead with all that we dread
Fear has been known
To create dis ease throughout the body
This formidable monster
Can tear families apart
Snatch away jobs
Ultimately relationships
Of all kinds crumble
Most important of all
To yourself
Words and thoughts
Are ensconced in constant
Misconceptions
Deceived by the fear
Received by the self inflicting
Hateful dread
Discouraging words that
Stream consciously
And sub consciously through
Your head
Of late many have taken the chances
Of playing with their lives
Some may survive
While the others are found dead
Breathing deeply and focusing
On at least five things
In front of you
Things that you can
Make your senses alert
And curious
Will help this fear subside
Take back your power
Know that you have
Friends on your side
Souls that can sense
That it’s just gotten extremely serious
Were here
