The body appeared lifeless
The struggle to breathe vivid
Yet shallow
Slowly the fear was ebbing away
Voices seemed like they
Were coming from a distance
Hollow
Echoes tried to sustain
Yet bring me back
The darkness was enveloping
There was a succinct comfort
How the darkness was easing the fear
Anxiety that felt like a choking
Of the throat subsiding
Strange realizing it’s already more
Than half a year
Confusion ebbs in and out
Like the waves that kiss the beach
Swarming in with a quick hello
Followed by a retreat
Empty words are hollow
Beware of unified couples
Under the guise of marriage
Constant need of attention
Disregard of intervention
Ensuing with no direction
Just the egos need of control
