Creeping slowly along the dark
Halls of the eerily cool castle
Each corner a haunted delight
To thrill and chill non believers
Into a fitful fright
Their gasps grow louder
As the light becomes dimmer
Fear escalated as the wheels of the mind
Over churn
Freaking out the scared stiffs
Throughout the night
Only levity is once dawn breaks
Shallow breathing only raises the stakes
