The screaming echoed through the halls
Louder through the corridors
Shattering the peace
That finally took over

Screaming elevated to screeching
All little hairs are erect
Fear is seeping
Dark corners indirectly
Conjuring images
Filled with ghouls and ghosts

Screaming is louder still
Broken dreams
Awaken from the nightmare
To face the muse of screams
Coming from me
