The red flags of insecurity have been flying high
Flapping in the whipping winds
Higher than the sky
Expectations of the big bang
Galaxies of the unknown
Staring at the stars
How beautifully they hang
The red flags keep flapping
Anxiety raising concerns
Breathlessness gaping
Open mouthed at the surroundings
Green eyed monster will surely rise
Watching and waiting
For the fireworks of envy to fly
Big bang theories about to expand
Expecting another of the many
Where one will say good bye

I'm very busy. I'm loving my job but heritage preservation is quite full on. I had 2 meetings last Thursday & in the 1st 1 I was expected to read 1000 pages while listening to what was said & join in. I've been told I've got to learn to do & teach quilting & crochet at some point. I've been advised to take an online archiving course. I've been told I've got to help give an archiving presentation in 2 months time. I've also been told I've got to learn photography. A lady I work with said she was teaching a decoupage course before Xmas. I asked her what decoupage was & got told that my name was going on her student list. I look forward to writing more poetry when I get a chance.
I miss Lady V too.
