Blood strewn across the lands
Misguided throngs of people
Disguising the avarice in their hearts
Under different misnomers
Claiming to make a stand
For true justice and the American way
As an observer
Just North of the 49th parallel
All types of fascism and racism
Eschewed and destroying your own backyards
Coveting you’re neighbors
Whilst attacking and hating behind a horrific mask
It’s not the way I view people
We are souls inhabiting temporary bodies
We all are human beings
Rather than loving and being
We watch on social media how blame and attack is the ugly norm
Broken is the communication
Rage and need for blood
War is in the streets
Under the name of Covid and hate
Hate is insipid
Barring it’s ugly face Across all media’s
Brazen and disturbing
