Tears escape the trapping of the tightly closed eyes
Try however hard to prevent them from spilling
They flow surreptitiously unaware of them coursing down my cheeks
The numbness has taken over every cell is inebriated in pain
Screaming loudly in silent waves
Vertigo creating the wild spin that’s left me unbalanced
The ache so deep
Each step is a crack shoot
Bargain denied
The price is steep
