Ominous storms threaten to engulf us with torrential freezing rain
Snippets of sun languishing through the skies rays
Sporadically making gestures through the darkened clouds
Emotions rampaging with this Covid strain
All of last year this storm is a dark cloud
Overhead the skies bespoke our collective feelings of rejection
It appears the sun is shining across the American land
Whilst the darkness still looms from sea to shining sea along the Canadian coasts
Dark musings keep us blocked from the true under currents and the truths
There is blood on their hands vivid stains
Greed has taken each turn whilst the rest is struggling the poverty plight
Smiles form the wicked
The innocent need to fight
