Sticky warm and bloody
Open wounds ruby red with streams of pus
The pain ignited the echoing screams
The darting of the eyes, faulty
Lateral moves jutting left and right
Then back again
Fidgeting rocking back and forth
While watching you ripping and your hangnails
And biting your nails down to the quick
These pains you access are those of yesterday
Abandoned and left without the love of the unrequited
Shattered by the misgivings shared of the tortured stares
Pain is your topmost emotion
Frozen shield around your broken heart
Anyone that gets to close is abused with words
While sporting a wry smile across what once was a pretty face
Narcissistic tendencies that you accuse others
Is facing you in the mirror
Your need to tear and destroy
Is seeping close to you
Like the sticky warm blood, inching closer
Dorian Grays scarred and tethered
Grotesque and horrifically marked
Look closer and you’ll see the scars reflected in your eyes
Your fairy story telling of happy home life
Is starting to crack
No gold can mend the destruction
Caused by the heart that never forgives
The bleeding continues
Open wounds like these will never stop
Denying the healing
Karma has a way of paying **** back
