For the smoothness of climbing 49th level elevators
Change happens all the time
New developments in a blink of an eye
Transit system is overrated
Long lineups for buses
As the new subways are excavated
Everything changes
We’re told about climate change and recycling
Judge by the pictures they are far from recycling
Concern for garbage and debris
Is not a concern when money is at the door
Multiple millions in certain pockets
Taxing rain water, taxing the taxing upon taxing
Change is happening
Weather forecast of late rain and more rain
Surprise about the wild fires on damp trees and terrain
Ahhh but the proof is in the benzine and chemicals
That are ignited forest fires by arsonists
In a land where billions of trees help the environmentalists with their quests
