Another day goes by
I miss you
It's hard to breathe sometimes
Especially when I cry
Tightness in my chest
A frog in my throat
It's me
I miss you
You're on the  other side
Your disease killed you
You're out of pain
It's for the best
Time heals
I miss you
Memories flooding in
But sadness prevails
At times it's hard to get out of bed
The living left behind
Looking for solace to find
I miss you
Insurmountable emotions
Scanning pictures
Watching the movies of my mind
I miss you so bad
Another Night goes by
Lying here as I cry
