On a crisp cold night
Snuggled by the fire
Under the warm blanket
Flames burning higher
Basking in its warm glow
Clasping a warm cup of cacao
Dark chocolate semi sweetness
Warming my insides
Olfactory senses
Deliciously heightened
quiet moments like these
Make the stillness of the mind
Sharpen bright
Plethora of ideas
Igniting the imagination
Simplistic joys of life
Pulchritudinous sensations
Remove all remnants of strife
Sitting by the hearth
Enjoying the solitude
