Rose petals heavenly scent
Prickly thorns ubiquitous
Pierce my tender soft skin
As rare as the black rose
As luxurious as the soft pink hue
Copious exquisite multi hued blooms
Grace my enticing elegant bouquet
Proffered to me by my love
Brightening my living room
Each bud and blossom
Delightful in its natural elegance
It is not an anniversary
Not a feast day
It's a token of his love
