Rapid thoughts permeate
Running through my brain
Anguish plummeting
Feeling the tragic strain
Distance only recreates
The loving moments that remained
Fighting through looking back
Standing strong against the pain
Even the capable break
Trying to only bend
Wreaking havoc on the affliction
My thoughts turn
Hoping to mend
Blessed with the distinction
Uncanny blend
Of strength & weakness
Well being & agony
