What secrets my eyes have seen
Trust has always been important to me
Some things sweet, others obscene
Confidently I give my word
My credence you see
I'm sharing from a shattered heart
Of late I've observed intense hate
It's all across the news
Unbridled it appears
Pages seem to be used as bait
People have been stewing
Being politically correct
Has been torn apart
Loathsomeness amongst humans
Has got me reeling
Disgusted by the segregation
That has poisoned what I thought
Was a strong nation
Divided by the illusionary wall
Spiteful words spewing from
Surprising mouths
Keep thinking of that movie
Standing tall
It's time to stand up
Against all bullying
For once we've bled
And we're all dead
Our carcasses where once was
Black, brown, yellow or white
Real blood run through our veins
This racial blight
Ruin and discrimination
Is an abomination
Horrible degradation
When we get down to the skeletal bones
Once we've thrown those wicked stones
At the end of this ridiculous game
We're all the same
Stop the blame
