Falling asleep in your arms
Running your fingers through my hair
My lullaby is the beating of your heart
Kiss on my forehead
Your silent way of showing me you care
Calming me when I'm ravaged by the storms
I've always fallen for your charms
Started years ago
As you watched me
Trying not to watch me
With that side glance
Not missing anything, by chance
Alert to all my quirkiness
Embracing me with kindness
Allowed the walls to come tumbling down
Thank you for our love trance
