Music is soothing the savage beast within me
Each note
The rhythm
The drum beat
The guitar
The strings
The bass

Music interwoven around
My heart to make it whole
It connects to my soul
Reminding it
Never alone
Every lesson
I'm forced to realize
I've grown
Sadness envelopes me
As it's another link
Another opportunity to let go
Time to take chances
Making it available for me to see

Focus
Grow
