Fatigue has followed the ache of the heart
The ache intensified in the center
Of my chest
Choking back the tears
My heart feels broken
Shattered to minuscule pieces
Thousands of tiny puzzles
In hopes that one day soon
The pain will subside
Tears will stop it's continual flow
Realizing that those that claimed
Familial relationships
Have disappeared
One thought that crosses my mind
For clarification
There are no ties that bond us
Frayed to the point of extinction
Threadbare
Hardly there
That's the true distinction
